What To Do After An Accident:

  1. Check for injuries. Call 911 for a police officer and, if anyone needs medical attention, request an ambulance. Have your driver's license, registration and insurance information ready for when the authorities arrive.
  2. Pull over from traffic. If possible, stop in well-lit area away from traffic to ensure your physical safety and the safety of others on the road.
  3. Call roadside assistance. Call for help, and ask for your vehicle to be sent to our facilities (even if we are closed).
  4. Take a picture of the accident. Use your phone's camera or another device to document the damage sustained during the accident.
  5. Exchange insurance information. Write down the names and phone numbers of anybody involved in the collision, or anyone who may have witnessed the accident.
  6. Notify your insurance agent. Call your agent and provide any information that is asked of you.
  7. Demand D-Patrick. Insurance companies allow you to take your vehicle to the repair facility of your choosing - choose the best.
